You can simply create an account with MoSwap while selling a device to us on www.moswap.in. Also, having an account with MoSwap is an easy and convenient way to keep track of your transactions with us.
You can begin this process by finding your gadget from the device listings, and selecting the item you want to sell and, then getting a quote.
As you confirm the acceptance of our offer for your gadget, you will be asked for the information needed to create an account. This will include your address, contact information, and payment preferences.
You can also use your existing Google account or Facebook account. Also, there are no other costs for using MoSwap to trade in your device, and never an obligation to send the item to us.
After you create the transaction it can take up to 15 minutes for our system to process the new account. Though you do have the option to check-out as a guest, it is best to register an account.

MoSwap currently is operating in India only. Currently, customers from outside of India cannot use the services of MoSwap to sell their gadgets.
It is very easy and simple to prepare your device for shipping.
Please review the checklist below before sending your device to MoSwap.
● Make sure to complete the unlocking process through your carrier
● Remove SIM card or deactivate through your carrier and pay the balance of your bill
● Turn Off Device Tracking (i.e. Find My iPhone, Samsung Reactivation Lock) and remove password
○ For Apple device, turn off Find My iPhone in the iCloud settings menu.
○ For Samsung phones, check the Security settings.
● Remove SD card from your device
● Backup your photos and files
● Send Just Your Device
● Do not send any extra items (headphones, charger, data cable)
● Charge Your Device
● Deactivate iMessage to ensure you continue to receive message on your new phone
Please note that we do not accept devices that have been reported lost or stolen.
You should erase all of data and settings from your phone while preparing it for shipping. This is done to protect your data and personal information. After receiving the gadget, we still double check your device to make sure it's been erased.
You can make a backup of your iPhone's data via iCloud or by connecting your iPhone to the computer you normally sync with.
Follow these steps to erase your device before sending it to MoSwap:
1. Tap the settings (gear icon) from the home screen
2. Tap the "General" settings menu item
3. Choose the "Reset": menu item
4. Tap on the "Erase All Contents and Settings" menu item
Follow these steps to erase your device via iCloud, if it does not power on or after you have shipped it to MoSwap with iCloud:
1. Sign in to icloud.com/#find with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud for the sold device), then click Find My iPhone
2. Click All Devices, then select the device you want to erase
3. In the device's Info window, click Erase [device]
4. To erase:
○ Enter your Apple ID password. If the device you're erasing has iOS 7 or later, enter a phone number and message. The number and message will be displayed on the screen after the device is erased.
○ If your device is online, the remote erase begins. A confirmation email is sent to your Apple ID email address.
○ If your device is offline, the remote erase begins the next time it's online.
You can use the shipping label on any box. You can pack your gadget in any box of your choice just remember that the box should be sturdy. Our logistics partner will pick it up free of cost!
Be sure to pack it carefully to avoid damage, and please remember to give the other label to our logistics partner.
MoSwap offers free shipping and free pick-up of the gadget from your address. It's that simple!
Our logistics partner will pick-up the gadget from your address. This is to provide the customer a convenient experience. Just remember to provide the pick-up guy with the printed copy of the shipping label provided in the email.
It is highly recommended to remove your SIM card before sending your device to us.
As your SIM card may store personal information and contact numbers, we advise you to remove your SIM card.
If you send your SIM card along with your device, our inspection team will remove and disposes it off. It will be impossible to locate your SIM card after inspection. So, we highly recommend you to remove your SIM card before sending it to us.
"Find My iPhone" is a feature for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch that can help locate your device if lost, but can also block activation by a new owner. Because of this, MoSwap cannot offer full trade-in value for devices with Find My iPhone enabled.
To ensure a fast and hassle-free process, please make sure to turn off Find My iPhone before sending it to MoSwap.
Just follow these simple steps to turn off "Find My iPhone":
Step 1: Locate and tap the "Settings" icon on your device's home screen.
Step 2: Tap "iCloud" in the Settings menu.
Step 3: If Find My iPhone is ON, tap the slider to turn it OFF.
If you are prompted to for a password, enter your iCloud password and tap "Turn Off" to confirm.
Please note: If you have already send your gadget to us and forgot to turn off "Find My iPhone", then please see the "How to deactivate Find My iPhone after shipping to MoSwap" FAQ and follow the steps to reset the setting remotely. Please contact us if you need any assistance with this process. We are always there to help you!
Find My iPhone feature, if not turned off, will automatically block activation by other people. Due to this, MoSwap is unable to find a new owner for your device. Also, MoSwap will not be able to offer full trade-in value for the devices in which "Find My iPhone" feature is enabled.
You can still turn off "Find My iPhone" even after sending your device to us. Just follow these simple steps to turn off "Find My iPhone" remotely:
Step 1: Go to http://www.icloud.com/#find and login using your Apple iCloud account (this is the same account you use on your device.)
Step 2: Click "Devices" at the top, and locate the device you sent to moswap. After a few moments, iCloud will finish updating the location on each of your devices and the device you sent to moswap should appear as offline. Click on the device to select it, go back to the device list, and then click the "X" button to remove it from your account. Please note: device must be powered off.
Step 3: Click "remove" on the next screen to confirm.
If you received an email from MoSwap asking you to complete these steps, use the link in your email to let us know you've removed it from your account so we can continue to process your device.
You can also visit Apple's support website (https://support.apple.com/kb/PH2702?locale=en_GB ) to turn off "Find My iPhone".
Please note: If you are still in possession of your device, you can turn off "Find My iPhone" right from the settings menu. When we receive your gadget at our warehouse, it normally takes 5 to 7 business days for issuing payment. Bank transfer is the fastest mode of payment. Bank checks are delivered by post, so that it can take 7 - 10 days for you to receive it.
The overall time taken for the payment process is also dependent on the following factors:
1. Shipping time
It can normally take 3-5 business days for your gadgets to be received at our warehouse. But due to some unforeseen factors, the shipping time may increase (delay in transit). You can track your package by logging into the "Track My Offers" page on www.moswap.in.
2. Inspection time
After we receive your gadget, we try to inspect it as soon as possible. We normally try to get you paid within 5-7 business days. But this time may increase, if the gadget is not found to be exactly in the condition you described in the online platform. We will change the price quote of the gadget in case of this mismatch. This may increase the overall time depending on your response to our revised offer.
3. Payment time
After the inspection process, we instantly transfer the amount to your bank account. If you have chosen bank check as the mode of receiving payment, then it can normally take 5 to 10 days for the check to be received.
You can also contribute towards preventing the delays. We recommend checking your email daily to avoid any miscommunication.
You can also check with us if you need any help determining the condition of your item, or if you are unsure of the account status on your phone.
You can turn off any active account (Find My iPhone is enabled) on your phone, it can cause delays.
If your device is not listed on our website, then we do not accept it for selling.
If you select a different model and send it to us, then we may offer you a revised price. You will be notified through telephone communication about the same. If you do not accept our revised price offer, then we will return your device or you may chose to recycle it.

MoSwap does not restrict the number of gadgets sold by you. You can select as many devices you want to sell to Moswap as you like.
We constantly update our product listings on the website. This is done to keep the website up-to-date. We might have updated some outdated items from the list.
This is done to provide better service to our customers. We also add items to the list as new products are launched into market so that customer can upgrade to the latest gadgets in the market. If you can't find your device in the current list, please do check the list again in the future or send us your feedback.
When we receive your gadget at our warehouse, it can normally take a day or two to make the payment. If the model and condition are confirmed during the inspection, the payment is processed within 3-5 business days.
We provide two modes of payment: Bank Check and Bank Transfer. The fastest way to get paid is through Bank Transfer which takes 24-48 hours. Bank Checks are shipped via courier and typically take 5 to 10 days to arrive once the payment is processed.
An email will always be sent when your payment is processed and will include details regarding when you can expect to receive it.
